MMAjunkie.com today confirmed with event sources that his original opponent, lightweight John Cholish, was forced off the card with a groin injury. Officials are now searching for a replacement for the Dec. 8 card, which takes place at Seattle’s KeyArena.

After scoring a season-high 220,000 viewers with Bellator 79 a week prior, ratings dropped this past weekend for Bellator 80. The Nov. 9 event, which featured a main-event win for former champ Joe Warren, averaged 148,000 viewers on MTV2, MMAjunkie.com today confirmed with industry sources. That’s well below the previous season average of 172,200 viewers.
